Dr. Dereth J. Drake

Welcome to Dr. Drake's Webpage

Dr. Drake is an Associate Professor of Physics in the Department of Physics, Astronomy, and Geosciences at Valdosta State University.  She recieved her M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from Old Dominion University with a concentration in low-temperature plasma physics.

Currently, Dr. Drake teaches algebra-based physics, computational physics, thermodynamics, and plasma physics.  This website contains information regarding these courses, her research interests, and current and previous undergraduate student research projects.  Also, please check out the pictures from the recent plasma lab dedication ceremony.
