Freshman World Geography Spring Semester
2013. I teach at Duluth High School in
Georgia located in Gwinnett
County. Recently, US News & World
Report ranked my school the #10 public
school in the state and highest rated public

Gwinnett County Public Schools is the
largest school system in Georgia and serves
more than 165,000 students. My name is Thomas LePage and I have
been teaching for 2 years and have been an employee of
Gwinnett County for 5 years. During this time, I
was an assistant varsity baseball coach at Shiloh High
School for 1 year and have served in that same role
with the Duluth
High School Baseball program for the past 4
years. I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and stayed
close to home to attend Jacksonville University, where
I was a 4 year letter winner on the baseball team.
This semester in
Freshman World Geography we will be focusing on
Europe’s geography and culture. Students will
learn about the geographic, economic, and physical
differences between the countries of Europe as well as
discuss the important cultural aspects of each
