Welcome to my homepage for Freshman World Geography Spring Semester 2013.  I teach at Duluth High School in Duluth, Georgia located in Gwinnett County.  Recently, US News & World Report ranked my school the #10 public school in the state and highest rated public school in the county. My name is Thomas LePage and I have been teaching for 2 years and have been an employee of Gwinnett County for 5 years.  During this time, I was an assistant varsity baseball coach at Shiloh High School for 1 year and have served in that same role with the Duluth High School Baseball program for the past 4 years. I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and stayed close to home to attend Jacksonville University, where I was a 4 year letter winner on the baseball team.

This semester in Freshman World Geography we will be focusing on Europe’s geography and culture.  Students will learn about the geographic, economic, and physical differences between the countries of Europe as well as discuss the important cultural aspects of each society.  The Gwinnett County Academic Knowledge and Skills curriculum for this class can be found by looking in the Social Studies section located here.
