Dr. Lu also holds a Bachelor degree in architecture and a Master degree in community planning. Her design has contributed to construction of a variety of buildings now standing in China. Dr. Lu is also a recipient of the American Council of Learned Societies Research Fellowship (2011-2013).
Courses taught: Regional Planning and Environmental Management, Urban Community Planning, World Regional Geography, Introduction to Land Forms, GIS Applications in Planning, etc.
Research interests: population and employment analyses, urban modeling, GIS applications in planning and transportation, land use analyses, geography of China, city planning and urban development, as well as its environmental impact in China, etc.
