About Me:

The 2012 - 2013 will be my 3rd year teaching and I am elated to engage the students in learning. I am a native of Thomasville, GA and received my BA in Psychology from North Carolina A&T State University. During my matriculation there, I was a member of the dance line of the school's marching band and the principal clarinetist of the school's symphonic band. I have a love for the arts and love to incorporate it into my lessons. I have a 2 year old hybrid dog named Janelle Monae that keeps me active, and I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and trailing new cuisines. I'm involved with various organizations that keeps me busy volunteering and educating on the weekends as well!

This Looks Like a Job For...
As a 3rd grade interrelated teacher, I work closely with the departmentalized 3rd grade team. This means that your student has a teacher for each subject, and they rotate to their classes. I co-teach the subjects of Literacy/Reading, Math, and Science.  I also have a designed intervention time for the special education students to implement the Funnix reading program. As a special education teacher, it is important that I provide the students with a personalized education, as well as provide quality instruction for the general education students as well.
