First of all, NO, I'm sorry, you did not just see an Ivory-billed in your backyard or on your way to work. What you saw was a Pileated Woodpecker (also quite impressive). It has a black bill and very little white in the folded wing. Just assume you have zero chance of seeing an Ivory-billed. Sorry. But know that it lives, just the same!
